- battery is dead and will not take charge. install new battery. check starting and charging system – ok check for any related trouble codes stored in system. found many codes related to systems have low voltage. suspect a bad battery caused these codes. clear trouble codes and test drive multiple times. ran ok and no trouble codes returned
